About the NTDF

The history of a fictional entity.

Long before the term "social media" was being used regularly in the general population, and even before internet chat clients were ubiquitous, a small group of friends and I relied upon email for a majority of our digital communications. On one particular afternoon, after an especially pointless chain of emails, I suggested that the others should join my support group, the Nothing To Do Foundation, which was specifically for people with nothing better to do than sending pointless emails all day long. Thus, the NTDF was born.

The NTDF remained alive as an inside joke for several years, and when I decided to register my own domain name (primarily for email purposes), ntdf.org was a natural fit.
